	Cloud Services typically refers to software applications provided via the Internet as a service (Software as a Service – SaaS), which are hosted and maintained offsite by a software and services vendor. Microsoft has been providing cloud applications for millions of customers for many years, including Dynamics CRM Online, Windows Live Hotmail and Windows Live Messenger.

	Microsoft also offers the full spectrum of its business solutions (ERP & CRM) in both cloud-based and on-premise models. This offering will transition to Microsoft Office 365 in July 2011, which will also include the ubiquitous Microsoft Office suites online and Microsoft’s online development platform of Azure.
